Vince Zampella, Dies in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts said.
